Scanroll - Biometric Attendance System

Scanroll is a comprehensive biometric attendance system designed specifically for educational institutions. The mobile application uses fingerprint recognition technology to streamline attendance tracking, eliminate proxy attendance, and provide real-time monitoring for administrators and educators.

Traditional attendance systems in educational institutions are prone to errors, proxy attendance, and time-consuming manual processes. The client needed a secure, efficient solution that would modernize attendance tracking while providing valuable insights and analytics.

I designed and developed a user-friendly mobile application that leverages fingerprint biometric technology for secure authentication. The system includes features for class creation, student enrollment with fingerprint registration, real-time attendance tracking, and comprehensive reporting. The UI was designed to be intuitive for both educators and students, with clear visual feedback for successful fingerprint scans.

Scanroll has been implemented in 12 educational institutions, reducing attendance recording time by 80% and completely eliminating proxy attendance. The system has processed over 50,000 attendance records with 99.7% accuracy, and administrators report significant improvements in student punctuality and attendance rates.
